Devi Govender
Platform President
As platform president, Devi is responsible for supporting market development through physician programs, professional education, reimbursement, therapy awareness and downstream marketing. Devi has taken on increasing levels of responsibility since she first joined Abiomed in 2016 as leader of the physician program director team.
Prior to Abiomed, Devi worked at Abbott Vascular in varying roles across sales and professional education. She also led Abbott Vascular’s global initiatives around CTO and complex PCI.
Devi started her career in the medical industry more than 20 years ago in her home country of Ireland where she gained experience working in distributor markets and OUS geographies. She moved to the United States in 2010 and became a U.S. citizen in 2021.
